The association
Outings 2026
The association's outings: high-mountain routes on mule tracks and trails, led by a member acting as ride leader. Let's ride together!
The outings follow mid- and high-mountain routes, with possible technical sections (which can also be tackled by pushing the bike). Good fitness and adequate technical skill are required, as stated in each outing's description; helmet and gloves are always recommended.
How it works
Participation is open: the ride leader is a member who guides the group free of charge on routes they know, looking after timing and safety, and may change the route or stops if necessary. Suitable gear and an efficient MTB are required; the helmet is mandatory, gloves and a water bottle recommended. The route is binding for everyone: no individual off-route riding. By taking part you accept the rules, releasing the association and the ride leaders from liability for any accidents.
Taking part
Open to everyone aged 16 and over; minors must be accompanied by an adult. For MTB Valcamonica members there are no extra costs (membership includes accident insurance). Non-members are asked for an insurance contribution of €10 (adults) or €5 (minors) per outing. On the second outing, membership is activated for €15, or you can join straight away by paying €25. The difficulty scale follows the CAI cycle-touring classification and, for the descent, the STS scale.
