There is an old way of getting to know a valley: crossing it under your own power, one trail at a time. In Valcamonica we do it in the saddle, along mule tracks and passages people have travelled for thousands of years, the same land as the rock carvings. We are an association of enthusiasts. We ride out together, cross these trails without leaving a mark, and share the rides we care about most. We don't do it to collect routes, but because a climb tackled out of breath teaches more than a thousand photographs, and you only truly understand a place once you have crossed it slowly.
